Document printing is still an essential part of business, whilst we do what we can to eliminate wastage and monitor print output. Ultimately, printing still comes at a cost to the environment.

Fortunately, we have developed a strategy for businesses to completely offset their print carbon footprint, making their print environment carbon neutral.

Our ‘closed loop’ carbon neutral programme offsets the carbon from the manufacturing process as well as the carbon omitted from the operation of the machine, the environmental impact of your everyday printing is calculated and credited to certified carbon capture schemes.

OMM Digital is part of a much larger office products company, by working in partnership with other companies within our group we can provide additional services to our clients, which will support and aid carbon neutral printing. We are working closely with the Woodland Trust to provide susatinable printer paper to our managed print services clients. Through our involvement with the Woodland Trust, a tree will be planted for every 12 boxes purchased. We can also go one step further and recycle your secure shredding and toner cartridges - all of this is expertly managed by our team. You print, we'll plant

If you are part of the Carbon Neutral Printing scheme with OMM Digital you will be supporting worldwide reforestation.

Through print management software we can monitor your print usage, calculating the carbon used from every day printing. We work closely with certified carbon capture schemes, and will offset your carbon by funding reforestation projects globally.

We also work closely Woodland Trust, as we are part of a much larger office products company we can provide our Carbon Neutral Printing clients with competitively priced Woodland Trust recycled printer paper. For every 12 boxes sold, 1 tree will be planted in UK woodland - It’s the paper that plants trees!

Canon have established an Environmental Management System (EMS) which facilitates the management of their environmental responsibility and use a specialist tool called Enablon to manage, measure and improve their environmental performance.

Canon have also been awarded an EcoVadis gold award for sustainability, they were accessed across environmental practices, fair labour and human rights, ethics and sustainable procurement putting them in the top 5% of companies.
